De Fraga is a seasoned finance and operations leader with over 20 years of experience in documentary and film production. She got her start at Towers Productions, cutting her teeth as an Associate Producer and Post-Production Supervisor on documentaries for A&E, History, National Geographic, and TLC. She quickly moved up the ranks to become Vice President of Finance, overseeing more than $20 million in annual production revenue. After eight years in that role, she took on the Controller position at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios and later served as Director of Finance and Operations at the award-winning Kartemquin Films, managing a team of 15 and shepherding over 10 films from development to completion.

Outside of production work, de Fraga has leveraged her operational expertise as a consultant, designing financial workflows and accounting systems for clients across a wide range of industries through her work with Codence, Inc. She is currently the Financial Controller at The Fields Studios, a leading film studio in Chicago.
